You have been hired to delve into the ruins of an abandoned labyrinth to hunt down and slay the Beast that has been terrorizing the local villages. Rumours abound of the riches that fill the labyrinth, useful tools that will help you slay the monsters that reside within. They are yours to keep, provided you survive the evils within.

Lair of the Beast is a 2-4 player roguelike boardgame set in a high fantasy world, with mythical and magical races and monsters, where magic is real, but not common. Players can take on one of 6 classes and delve into the labyrinth. Each turn they can venture deeper into the labyrinth, drawing a card from the Floor Tile Deck and placing it on a space adjacent to the one they’re on. By exploring the labyrinth they can uncover items that they can use to strengthen their characters for the final battle, but must be careful to balance exploration with strategy. There are other dangers beyond the Beast in the labyrinth and Players need to be careful that they don’t waste too many resources early.
